Overview
- This feature allows AI GIJIROKU to transcribe audio from ZOOM, Teams, Google Meet, Youtube, etc.
- The macOS and Windows versions require the installation of software for the corresponding operating system.
- f you have already installed the software, please see "How to use after OS installation" at the bottom of this page.
*This function is not available for light voice recognition.
Installation is available from the menu on the right side of the home screen.
Installation Procedure by OS
1. macOS Version Procedure
- Download the installer
a. Launch the exe file downloaded in step 1
b. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
2. Make sure alt Virtual Microphone is in System Preferences > Sound > Output/Input.
2. Windows Version Procedure
- Download the installer
*When downloading with Google Chrome, a warning may appear. In that case, click the "^" button and click "Continue".
2. Launch the exe file downloaded in step 1.
3. The message "Installation is complete. Please reboot the system" will be displayed.
4. Restart the PC.
5. Confirm that there is an alt Virtual Microphone in Settings > System > Sound > Output/Input
*Note: Do not select "alt Virtual Microphone" as the default speaker.
*Note: Currently does not work on arm CPUs, but will be supported in the near future.
How to use AI GIJIROKU after OS installation
- Set the OS speaker (output destination) setting to the device used for normal AI GIJIROKU use (e.g., external headphones).
*Since this is the speaker setting for audio output in meetings, there is usually no need to change this setting.
2. Launch your web browser (e.g. Chrome) and access AI GIJIROKU.
3. Start recording AI GIJIROKU
4. Set the output destination to alt Virtual Microphone
a. For Teams: click on the "Other" button at the top of the screen > Device Settings > Speakers
b. For Zoom : "^" button in the upper right corner of the microphone icon > Speaker
c. For Google Meet : 3-point reader button at the bottom of the screen > Settings > Speakers
d. For browser audio (e.g. YouTube) : System Preferences > Sound > Output
5. Start a meeting (conversation)
■ About Uninstaller
If you wish to stop using the internal voice function, please download the uninstaller from the menu on the right side of the screen.
Run the downloaded exe file to complete uninstallation.
