Gijiroku.ai Live Notes is an add-on for Zoom meeting hosts to enable live transcription for all participants and live note-taking for collaborators. It opens as a web page you can put next to Zoom or send the link to open on other devices.

 

Requirements

– Meeting hosts need Zoom Pro or higher

– Participants can access live transcription for free

 

How to set up Gijiroku.ai Live Notes for Zoom

The setup is easy and one-time only.

Step 1: Allow live streaming in Zoom (admin)

How to use Gijiroku.ai Live Notes for Zoom

 

Step 1: Allow live streaming in Zoom (admin)

1. Sign in to Zoom as an administrator.

2. Under Admin, click Account Management, and then click Account Settings.

3. In the Meeting tab, configure the following settings:

   •  Allow live streaming meetings: Enabled

   •  Custom Live Streaming Service: Enabled

   •  (Optional) Enter “Managed by Gijiroku.ai” in the text box

4. Under Personal, click Settings.

5. In the Meeting tab, configure the following settings:

   •  Allow live streaming meetings: Enabled

   •  Custom Live Streaming Service: Enabled

   •  (Optional) Enter “Managed by Gijiroku.ai” in the text box

Step 2: Connect Gijiroku to Zoom

1 + 2. Log in to http://app.gijiroku.ai, then click Your avatar on the top right panel. Then click “設定” to go to profiles’s tab

3. Go to “アプリ連携” tab

4. Look for Zoom and click “連携する”.

5. If you are not already signed into Zoom, you would be prompted to sign in.

6. Click Authorize to connect Gijiroku to Zoom.

How to use Gijiroku.ai Live Notes for Zoom

Start live transcription

1. Start a meeting with the Zoom account that is connected to Gijiroku for Teams.

2. Press “More” then “Live on Custom Live Streaming Service” to start using speech to text function

3. A red LIVE indicator will appear at the top left of the Zoom window, indicating that Gijiroku has started live transcribing the meeting automatically.

Access the live transcript

Meeting participants can open a live interactive transcript directly from Zoom to follow along and scroll back to read at their own pace.

1. Join a Zoom meeting.

2. Click the red LIVE indicator and click View Stream on Custom Live Stream Service in the dropdown.

3. The live transcript will open in a browser window.

4. Follow along and scroll back to read at your own pace.

Stop live transcription manually

To switch off transcribing for certain meetings, you can click the red LIVE indicator and click Stop Live Stream in the dropdown.

 

Uninstalling the AI GIJIROKU app

1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace

2. Click Manager > Installed Apps or search the AI GIJIROKU app

3. Click the AI GIJIROKU app

4. Click Uninstall
